This blog was made to help those who are going through a hard time or those who enjoy looking at uplifting pictures/posts. Our ask box is always open if you are seeking advice or an answer to your question(s). We are also open to any suggestions about what you would like to see more out of this blog and what you would like to see less of, etc. This is also a place where you can be yourself and submit pictures, videos, written posts, about related topics of this blog. Hate, violence, and other negative acts towards others are obviously not going to be tolerated. We encourage you to love yourself, others around you, and to be confident with who you are. This blog was also created after what happened to Jamey Rodemeyer. He and Rae - creator of this blog - were friends and after his tragic death, Rae decided that there has to be something done to help those who are going through what he went through and this was his way of reaching out to others by collaborating with a few of his friends that help put this blog together. We will dedicate our time and effort into those who seek out help/advice and try our best to make you feel better. If you find our advice/answer unhelpful, please reach out to someone else that you feel comfortable with or visit the link below labeled "Support" and please call one those numbers to receive the help you are looking for. We value each and every life that is out there.

I CAN’T HANDLE THIS

This ended completely different from what I expected

I like this. Don’t try to win someone’s love with gifts and flattery, just try to relate. It’s beautiful.

(Bunnies and Sunshine)

Easter is coming up! And it’s a terrible time for pet store bunnies!

Rabbits are marketed as “easy”, short-lived, starter pets, especially during the Easter holidays, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth! A healthy, well cared for bunny can live just as long as the average cat or dog- 10-12 years!

What’s more, they have more complex needs than a cat or a dog. Rabbits are prey animals and do not behave or show affection in the same way as predators like cats and dogs; they don’t deal well with being outside-only animals; they can get sad if they’re on their own and don’t receive enough attention; and if they’re bought as a male and female couple, they can start reproducing from as early as 5-6 months of age, and they can carry multiple litters at the same time!

They have a specialised diet (NOT carrots!), need a specialised living area (unless you want all your things to get chewed up!), and they need specialised vets! Caring for them costs as much as caring for a dog!

They’re a big responsibility!

This Easter, Make Yours Chocolate!

Read from right to left :)

This is a little manga I wrote to show how a girl’s efforts to make someone hurting smile ends up revealing a similar compassion from the very boy she was trying to comfort. It shows how a little kindness can sometimes seem pointless but it can be contagious and turn around to help the person giving it more than the one receiving it.

SDOHUFodshuf omg this is so so so so so cute I love iiiit ahhh

This is making me really sad

Holy shit I didn’t realize there were that few tigers

PROTECT BIG CATS AT ALL COST

I remember seeing a documentary some time ago about declining tiger populations.  Although I can’t remember the name of it (or the network), I did find this link which includes lack of prey animals, shrinking habitats, and extremely compromised genetic diversity among the major causes.

How can people still think that poaching is worth it?! People are ignorant pricks.

YOU ALL NEED TO SEE THIS. I LIVE FOR BIG CATS, AND THINGS LIKE THIS TEAR ME APART. THEY ARE DISAPPEARING. I CANT IMAGINE LIVING IN A WORLD WHERE TIGERS BECOME STORIES AND YOU CAN ONLY WISH TO HAVE SEEN ONE. THEY DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS AGHHH.

Positive Meal Time Affirmations:

  • Life is more than a number.
  • Food is not the enemy.
  • I deserve to nurture myself.
  • I trust my body to feed me in such a way that I remain at a natural, comfortable weight.
  • Strength and control come from exercising my personal power in the world not from refusing to eat.
  • I trust my body to make appropriate food choices and to know when it is satisfied with food.
  • I deserve to respect my body and to treat it with care and love.
  • My happiness depends on who I am and what I do, not my weight or size.
  • Food will not make me gain unnecessary weight.
  • My feelings have nothing to do with whether or not I should eat.
  • Food will be absorbed by my body, and used for energy and healing.
  • Fats are necessary: lipids do not fatten us, but nourish us.
  • This feeling too shall pass.

My BFF Coming out to her 89 Year old Grandmother

BFF: Grandmother I need to talk to you
Grandma: [concerned voice] What? What is it? Are you sick?
BFF: No, no. Grandma. I'm gay.
Grandma: What?
BFF: I'm gay Grandma. I have a girlfriend now.
Grandma: [relieved voice] Oh honey, is that all? I thought you had cancer. Anytime someone needs to tell me something they are sick. Who's your girlfriend, when is her birthday? I'll bake her a pie.
